Transom Window before and after - Once there wasn't, now there is...PICS

After Transom Window
Before Transom Window

Ahh finally the correct Elevation E!! Now, don't be jealous of our landscaping!! It's May 23 and no landscaping or painting has been done......huh Ryan???
After Foyer

Wow, what a difference this all makes!!

When they started tearing it all down, the framing
was there for the window. How about that???

  2. Oh Danielle, I asked from the very beginning what is wrong with the elevation, they said nothing, at closing I asked again, they said its correct. I was overwhelmed and thought I was overracting until about 5 weeks ago I asked our SR for an offical pic of my elevation. Sure enough they had FORGOTTEN the window above the door!!! The said the framers framed over it and no one caught it..........but I asked?

Anyway, what a difference in the way my elevation looks, now that BOX isnt so DAMN BIG and awkward looking...(the box between the windows).

  8. Success!!! Bless their hearts, they're just a little slow huh? They should be able to pop in a great landscaping package in a day...what's taking them so long? Nows the time, the weather is perfect. Ugh. Hang in there.

    1. Linda who knows what the hold up is, there are many other houses that we completed in the winter months and we ALL sit here bare looking like a construction site!

    1. Yes, you are seeing correctly, no landscaping...I dont have an answer neither do my PM's or SR, I dont get it?? It's not just me, there are 6 houses in this phase that STILL do NOT have any grass or anything, it's very sad!!! It makes the community look terrible too.

    2. Yes we are in the same boat !!! We have called RH 4 x already, but they sent us a letter stating that since we are an OFF SITE BUILD.. we are the last ones to get our grading, rock removal and hydroseed, they will be finihsing up the houses that close during these months FIRST !!! .. so they said before July it will be completed, but honestly I think my neighbors are going to call in an HOA violation on us it looks so terrible lol!

  13. It looks great, inside and out! What a difference a rectangle of glass makes :)

I'm glad they finally came through and did what should have been done in the first place.

  14. Unfreaking unbelievable!! I am still astonished that they forgot the window and even the PM didn't catch it through out the build!! The most thing is that it's done correctly. I have learned a valuable lesson through this DW that no matter what structural items I want to occur after the build that I CAN DO IT!! I feeling a little greedy and want more things added to our home. LOL After seeing what a great job they did I know anything is possible. SO HAPPY THIS TURNED OUT NICELY!

btw-I love the shutters on your house and can't wait to see the landscaping. Hope all of this is putting a BIG smile on your face so that you can enjoy your home. FINALLY!!
